1. RECOGNIZED YOURSELF AS A SINNER



Who is a sinner? this is a question that has been misunderstood even by the clergies who disseminates the words of GOD among church members. Many preachers have not convinced their members whom a sinner is, thereby bringing unresolved problem in their heart.


UNDERSTANDING THE CONCEPT("SINNER")

Most Christians always think that they become a sinner by telling lies, fornicate, steal, backbite etc, but the answer is (NO) . Man became a sinner from birth PS. 51 VS 5 (Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. )It is not because you commit stealing, lies that made you a sinner but the fact is that you are conceived and born is sin that is why you and me we are sinners not by telling lies or otherwise, but by birth

Until man recognize his status, he will not be able to serve GOD very well.In the book of Genesis Chapter 1 from VS 27, we got to know that God made man in his own image(27 God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." )Before the disobedient of man, man was in perfect union with GOD, but immediately after the fall of man, man became dead physically and spiritually Genesis Chap. 2(15 Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it. 16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, "From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die." 1) and could no longer have an access to GOD, he became a slave to Satan whom he yielded to. The disobedient of Adam and Eve brought judgement to his decendant

You and me we are sinners because we were born outside GOD"S plan.
